One of my all time favorite natural ingredients is Organic Virgin Coconut Cream Oil. No matter how many times I use this oil, the delicious scent of fresh coconut captivates my senses every time I open the container. There are a great many synthetic coconut fragrances out there, many of which I enjoy quite a bit, but nothing compares to the natural aroma of Organic Virgin Coconut Cream Oil. If you have never had the pleasure of using this oil, I highly suggest giving it a try. It can be used in its natural state as a hair and body conditioner, or added to a variety of formulations. I particularly enjoy making scrubs and body butters with Organic Virgin Coconut Cream Oil. The oil retains its strong aroma in these kinds of simple formulas, eliminating the need for additional fragrance.
Besides its decedent aroma, Organic Virgin Coconut Cream Oil boasts a variety of other beneficial properties. This light, semi-solid oil is highly moisturizing, yet penetrates the skin quickly. Organic Virgin Coconut Cream is also exceptionally stable. Its high vitamin E content helps make it resistant to oxidation. Organic Virgin Coconut Cream is also useful in soap making. It has natural antiseptic, and anti-fungal properties. Combined with its resistance to oxidation, this oil is an excellent choice for superfatting soap. Unfortunately, the signature aroma of Organic Virgin Coconut Cream is not likely to survive the saponification process. However, synthetic Fragrance Oils, such as Coconut, Coconut Cream, Coconut Lime Verbena, or Thai Coconut, can be used to enhance the olfactory interest of your soap.

This is by far my all time favorite coconut oil. It is scrumptious!! I use it for everything…skin and hair…by its self or in my mixes.

I’m happy to hear from another fan of Organic Virgin Coconut Oil! Do you have a favorite thing to put it in?
Fanta says
Emmy i usually use it as a pre-poo by itself, or mixed with conditioner before I shampoo. Its said to prevent protein loss during washing.
I use it when I massage my scalp because it stimulates hair growth.
Also to oil my hair sometimes and I mix it with a few other oils for my face :^)

Thanks Fanta, that’s very interesting. It must make your shower smell incredible before you shampoo!

Why shampoo? Shampoo ruins your hair. Water is enough. Or, if your hair has learned to build oil as a result of stripping it from oil for years (with shampoo), you can use eggs, lemon and water mix, or coconut cream. These will both clean and condition your hair. Adding honey, using only the yolks for conditioner, are some variations. Nature provides all.
