Can you use pracaxi oil in nipple cream?
Hi Christine. As far as I know, Pracaxi Oil would be a good choice for nipple creams. It is moisturizing and healing, both properties that sore nipples can benefit from. I’ve also seen Pracaxi Oil used in baby balms before. However, whenever you work with an exotic ingredient there is a chance that mama or baby might not react to that particular ingredient well. I would suggest consulting your midwfie or pediatrician before using Pracaxi Oil, just in case. You could also perform a patch test to check your own skin or baby’s skin for sensitivity.
