When making these scrubs how long do they last?
The Natural Beauty Workshop says
Hi Kayla. Salt and Sugar Scrubs are usually very stable in the jar, but begin to degrade as soon as they are handled. To keep your scrubs fresh as long as possible, try not to handle them directly. Instead, use a clean spoon or spatula to remove single servings from the jar. Never take the jar of scrub into the bath or shower with you. That will help keep moisture, bacteria, and other harmful things from getting into the scrub. If handled with care, you can expect most salt and sugar scrubs to last between 2 weeks and one month after being opened. Adding a preservative can also help ensure their stability.
