You may notice that I’m on a bit of a kick lately, a Pumpkin spice EVERYTHING kick. I’m not the only one. Bloggers have been busy creating recipes for Cupcakes, smoothies, and even pancakes to fuel the pumpkin spice craze. Lately, I’ve developed a pretty bad pumpkin spice latte habit. Rather than giving in to a coffee house addiction, I decided to give myself a way to indulge my senses without the extra calories and caffeine.
These cute little wax tarts are used as potpourri, and can be added to your harvest or Thanksgiving themed decor seamlessly. Just make sure that your friends and family know they are not edible. If you make them too cute, people might mistake them for candy!
I used a silicone ice cube tray as a mold for this project. You could also use Tart Tins or Foil Cups to give your wax tarts a more traditional look.

To give the tarts as gifts, try wrapping them in a Small Cello Bag tied with some twine or festive ribbon. Small tarts can also be packaged in our clear Acetate Soap Boxes.
While I was working on this recipe I just couldn’t resist creating a second variation. In this recipe, I’ve blended the Pumpkin Pie Fragrance with an equal portion of Vanilla Frappucinno. That small change gives these tarts a delicious coffee kick, making them very reminiscent of my favorite seasonal coffee drink. Yum!

How did you pop them out without breaking stems?! I have exact ice cube tray and all stems broke off mine ? I guess maybe different waxes, different results…
