We’ve recently entered that magical point of the year right in between Spring and Summer. The air is warming up. The skies are drying out, and fruit trees are beginning to come into their own. The mighty peach tree, for example, is beginning to droop with ripe luscious fruits. While most peaches are headed for cobblers and picnic blankets, I encourage you to save one for a fresh mask.
Using fresh ingredients, like fruits, herbs, or juices, not only packs handmade treatments with active components, they add a degree of luxury that your clients will not overlook. When you go to the trouble of whipping up a fresh scrub or mask you are offering something truly special!
This particular scrub is packed with special goodness, including a hefty dose of Vitamin C thanks to fresh peach puree. Soothing oats, moisturizing honey and Peach Kernel Oil, and the gentle exfoliation of plain yogurt round out the benefits of the scrub quite nicely. The addition of Oat Straw Extract is the icing on the cake, giving the recipe a boost of skin-softening, anti-inflammatory properties.
