Vanilla Jasmine Body Balm: a richly scented balm for moisturizing skin and hair.
The combination of musky Jasmine Sambac and warm Vanilla Spice gives our Vanilla Jasmine Body Balm an enchanting aroma reminiscent of smoky incense and woody perfume. While the aroma of this body balm is strong enough to use as solid perfume, its rich, conditioning properties makes it an excellent moisturizer for head-to-toe body care.
Dab a bit of Vanilla Jasmine Body Balm on dry knuckles, chapped elbows, or knees for a quick dry skin fix. Vanilla Jasmine Body Balm can also be used as a simple hair pomade. Rub a little bit of balm into hair to provide texture and conditioning.
About the Ingredients
Brazil Nut Oil
The light and easily absorbed texture of Brazil Nut Oil makes it an excellent ingredient for all-over body care. Brazil Nut Oil glides effortlessly across the skin while nourishing and moisturizing its surface. The mellow aroma of Brazil Nut Oil allows it to pick up aromatic ingredients with ease. It is also an excellent choice for hair care.
Beeswax
We thickened our massage balm with Beeswax. This natural wax is versatile in texture and color, available in white or yellow varieties. If you prefer to use a plant-based wax, try our Candelilla Wax instead. Candelilla is a bit harder than Beeswax so you will need to reduce it’s portion by about 10-20%.
Nilotica Shea Butter
The rich and creamy texture of Nilotica Shea Butter is a unique treat for skin and hair care. The butter has a semi-soft texture at room temperature, and melts upon contact with the skin. Nilotica Shea Butter is rich in vitamin e and essential fatty acids, all of which boost the moisturizing and conditioning power of our Vanilla Jasmine Body Balm.
Jasmine Sambac Floral Wax
Floral waxes are made up of natural plant esters left over from the production of absolutes and floral concretes. Most commonly used in perfume applications, Floral Wax is a compelling choice for adding natural aroma to skin and hair products as well. Our Jasmine Sambac Floral Wax has a deep floral scent that is sweet, musky, and exotic.
