Cranberry Pumpkin Salt Scrub
This fragrant salt scrub is packed with skin-loving ingredients that can help to soften and moisturize the skin. Pumpkin Seed Oil contains high levels of zinc, and vitamins A, E, and K. Cranberry Seed Oil is rich in antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. All of this natural goodness can help to condition the skin while mineral-rich Bolivian Pink Salt provides exfoliation and stimulates circulation.
This simple scrub is quick and easy to make, and a pleasure to use. We’ve added Polysorbate 20 to this recipe to make it easy to rinse, and Cranberry Fragrance Oil to enhance the scrub’s aroma. For an all-natural scrub, simply leave out these two ingredients and double the amount of Cranberry Seed Oil and Pumpkin Seed Oil.
Cranberry Pumpkin Salt Scrub
Makes about six 2-ounce jars
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Bolivian Pink Salt, Fine
- 1 1/2 ounce Pumpkin Seed Oil
- 1 1/2 ounce Cranberry Seed Oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Cranberry Fruit Fiber
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Cranberry Fruit Seeds
- 3 ounces Polysorbate 20
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Cranberry Fragrance Oil
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine Pumpkin Seed Oil, Cranberry Seed Oil, Polysorbate 20, and Cranberry Fragrance Oil. Stir the liquids well to make sure they are fully combined.
- Add Bolivian Pink Salt and stir again, making sure to break up any clumps in the salt.
- Add Cranberry Fruit Fiber and Cranberry Fruit Seeds. Mix well to distribute dry ingredients.
Usage and Packaging
- These scrubs look fabulous in our 2 Ounce Flat PET Jars. Make sure that the top of the jar and the lid are totally free from oil before you cap the jar. Any oil on the lid or the top of the jar can cause the scrub to leak.
- To use, massage a generous amount of scrub onto damp skin. This scrub may be used on hands, feet, arms, legs, and/or the torso. Rinse with water and follow with soap, if needed.
- In a sealed container, this scrub should last several months, but after it is opened it can easily become contaminated during use. Keeping the jar away from water, and using clean utensils to scoop out the scrub will help to keep it from becoming contaminated. A natural or synthetic preservative may be added to this recipe at your own discretion. For information on preservatives, please visit our informational library.
To Make an All Natural Version
Simply double the amount of oils, and leave out the Polysorbate 20 and Fragrance Oil. An Essential Oil may be added in place of the Fragrance Oil, if desired.
Cranberry Tangerine Lip Balm

It also lends an earthy, sweet aroma that blends deliciously with the Cranberry Flavor Oil and Tangerine Essential Oil. Bordeaux mica creates a beautiful deep color that will leave a slight tinted sheen on the lips.

Cranberry Tangerine Bath Bomb
Let’s face it, as wonderful as the holidays are, they also mean jam-packed stores and social calendars. It’s tiresome just thinking about it all! A great way to get re-energized is by warming up those muscles and invigorating the senses with a hot bath and one of these fragrant bath bombs!
Tip: We recommend using our Large Stainless Steel Baller or Mini Stainless Steel Baller for perfect bath bombs.
Cranberry Tangerine Bath Bomb
Makes about six 1 3/4 inch diameter bath bombs.
- 1 cup Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Citric Acid
- 1/4 cup White Kaolin Clay
- 1/2 ounce Cranberry Seed Oil
- 1/4 ounce Cranberry Fragrance Oil
- 1/4 ounce Tangerine Essential Oil
- 1/2 ounce Polysorbate 20
- 1 Tablespoon Tangerine Mica Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Cranberry Fruit Seeds
- 1 Tablespoon Cranberry Fruit Fiber
- Witch Hazel 86% to spritz, as needed
Directions
- Mix baking soda, kaolin clay, tangerine mica, cranberry fruit seeds and cranberry fruit fiber in a large bowl.
- In a second bowl, combine cranberry seed oil, cranberry fragrance oil, tangerine essential oil, and polysorbate 20. Whisk the liquids vigorously.
- Add the liquid phase slowly to the dry ingredients as you continuously stir the mixture.
- Add the citric acid last, and give one last really thorough mix. The mixture should be the consistency of wet sand. If your mixture feels dry and won’t stay together when pressed, spritz with Witch Hazel until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Fill each side of the bath bomb mold with mixture, then press together tightly.
- Tap the sides of the mold with a spoon to help release the bomb easily.
- Place bath bomb on soft surface, such as a towel, in a cool, dry place until completely hardened (about 24 hours).
Usage and Packaging
- Bath bombs should be packaged in airtight plastic or cellophane once they are fully dry. Our Small Cello Bags are perfect for this.
- To use, simply drop one bath bomb into warm bath water and watch the colorful powder fizz at it dissolves.
Cranberry Rose Cold Process Soap
This fragrant, naturally colored handmade soap makes an impressive addition to our cranberry bath and body products gift set. It was formulated with classic simplicity in mind, but still delivers beautiful lush bubbles with the silky soft feel of luxury. You are going to be tempted to keep them all for yourself!
If this is your first time making cold-processed soap, or if you are still getting your feet wet, we highly recommend reading up on the method before getting started. Working with a caustic ingredient, such as lye, requires strict safety procedures that every artisan should know. Check out our post on How to Make Cold Processed Soap to learn the basics. Soapmaking books like The Soap Maker’s Companion, are also wonderful learning tools.
Tip: For professional looking bars, cut your soap logs into 1” to 1 ⅛” thick uniform slices using our Soap Cutter.
Cranberry Rose Cold Process Soap
Makes about six 2.5-ounce soaps
- 4 ounces Coconut Oil, RBD
- 4 ounces Organic Sustainable Palm Oil
- 6 ounces Olive Oil (Grade A)
- 2 ounces Cranberry Seed Oil
- 1 ounce Cranberry Fragrance Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Rose Clay
- 2.20 ounces Sodium Hydroxide
- 5.4 ounces Distilled Water
Directions
- Get started by measuring all of your ingredients individually using an accurate scale. Be sure and take the proper safety precautions when measuring, handling, and working with lye.
- In a heavy-duty plastic pitcher or stainless steel pot measure out the distilled water. In a stainless steel bowl, measure out the lye. Carefully add the lye to your water. Mix slowly, then set the mixture aside to cool. Use a thermometer to keep an eye on the temperature. Ideally the lye water will cool to 100 F around the same time that the oils reach the same temperature.
- Meanwhile, gently heat the Coconut Oil and Palm Oil until fully melted. Add the Olive Oil and Cranberry Seed Oil, then heat until the mixture reaches 100F degrees.
- When both the lye water and oil mixture reach about 100F add the oil mixture to the soap pot followed the lye water. Immediately begin stirring the mixture with a large whisk or stick blender.
- Add the Cranberry Fragrance Oil and Rose Clay, then stick blend until the fragrance oil and clay have been evenly dispersed.
- Carefully transfer the soap batter to a lined wooden mold or silicone mold and insulate with a towel over your mold. Allow the soap to harden for at least 24 hours before unmolding and slicing. (If the soap still feels soft, let it sit and check again in another 24 hours)
- Place the sliced bars of soap on a drying rack and allow them to cure for at least four weeks before use.
